But if CCP management chooses to ignores you, ingnore the press, ignore the comments from the community and so on, how can you put any pressure on them at all?
I think the simple answer to that is you cant, CCP will continue to dive towards the floor and Eve dies a slow and painful death. |

I think the simple answer to that is you dont, CCP will continue to dive towards the floor and Eve dies a slow and painful death. Then I'm right back to my original question: If all this activity to put pressure on CCP will not prevent the event of "Eve dies a slow and painful death", then why do it? Wouldn't it be better to spend our time figuring out something what would work? (No I'm not sure what that would be. The best Ive thought of is face to face meetings with the investors of CCP).
That's assuming that CCP ignore the bad press, they do that they seriously risk losing potential customers and future products being tainted. The last great "poop-storm" that reared its ugly head we got a couple of blogs and a 'it will all blow over soon' attitude, once the press got their hands on it the tune changed pretty rapidly and an emergency CSM meeting was held, huge promises were made etc etc. 4 months later what do we have to show of ANY progress? Basically.... a photo of a white board with a few ideas which potentially are going to take 5 years to deploy.
Personally I'm holding out to winter before I make the decision to stay or leave, if this patch falls flat on its face like the last couple I dont see the point of sticking around, which is a shame after 5 years of playing, 2 fanfests and a hell of a lot of good friendships. |
